Our Priest
The Rev. Michael Clark
Father Mike Clark serves as the rector of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church. His ministry reflects a love for Scripture, liturgy, and the pastoral care of God’s people. Known for his thoughtful sermons and approachable spirit, he helps guide our parish in living out the Gospel through worship and community.
Fr. Mike believes that church should be both sacred and sincere. It is a place where people can bring their real lives before God and one another. His leadership encourages openness, honesty, and a faith that is both thoughtful and grounded in tradition.

Our Diocese
Led by the Rt. Rev. Brian K Burgess
St. John the Baptist is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Springfield, led by The Rt. Rev. Brian K. Burgess, Bishop of Springfield. Our connection to the wider diocese reminds us that we are part of something larger. We belong to a community of congregations that share the Anglican heritage of prayer, study, and service.
Lay Leadership
The life of our parish is shaped by more than clergy. Dedicated lay members serve in many roles, including music, outreach, hospitality, and governance through our vestry. Their gifts and faithfulness sustain our ministry and help make St. John’s a place of genuine welcome and shared purpose.
We are grateful for every person who contributes to the life of this parish, from those who read Scripture and lead prayers to those who brew the coffee and open the doors. Each act of service is part of the worship we offer to God.
